Scrappy Moms Sneak Peek Week : Spring Fling & Kids Inc.

Hey there,

Today is a wonderful day because today is the start of a brand new Scrappy Moms Stamps Sneak Peek week. This week will be filled with wonderful inspiration from the Scrappy Moms designers to showcase their TWO newest Releases Spring Fling and Kids Incorporated. NOW FOR SALE!!!

I cannot say how much I love these two stamp sets. Kids Inc, is great for giving kids cards, using on Scrapbook pages and just everything for Children

Spring Fling has all the sentiments you need to get you from St. Pattys all the way to Cinco De mayo all in one fun stamp set

Today I have two cards for you, one showcasing each of the stamp sets.

This first card I created using A Child's Year, for the card base and shape, Give a hoot for the banner, then Simply Charmed for the Chick and Egg, I used my PKS 464 Everyday face parts to stamp an adorable face on the chickie. I used the sentiment from Spring Fling  " You crack me up"

For the Second Card I used Lettering Delights Doug's Outer Space SVG Set. this set is so cute and I thought it went just perfectly with some recollections paper I had in my stash. Super cute for only 5 dollars. I used my Make the Cut software to cut the images out, as well as make the octagon card base shape. I finished off the card with the Kids Inc Sentiment " I love you to the moon and back" and some glossy accents & Twine :)

make sure you check out the rest of the design team's projects as well as our Monthly Guest Designer and go over to Scrappy Moms and place your order (you know you want to ;-P )

Scrappy Moms Sneak Peak #2

Hey there friends.

I have another Scrappy Moms Designers Choice Sneak Peek for you today.

I made this card once again using give a hoot. The moment i saw this sentiment "butterfly kisses" I just KNEW I wanted to use this deer!!

****he following is going to be kind of confusing if you dont own an imagine... but you can figure it out using regular paper too***

The Deer is cut from Give a hoot  on pg 47, i cut this out at 2.8 inches and printed with the Imagine more Palette colors

the grass and hills are from give a hoot cut at 1 inch each on pg 65, printed with the imagine more palette colors. I trimmed them to fit on the oval.

I used the imagine system scallop circle at 2 inches with Imagine more paper on page 39 (1st one)

Cardbase paper is from Imagine more on pg 43 sized with a 5.5 inch square cut at 4 x 5.25 inches and the top punched with my martha stewart eyelet lace punch

the layer square is from imagine more on pg 40 sized with a 4 inch square cut at 4x3.25 inches

The oval shape is from imagine more on pg 14, used the layers feature and the journaling oval is sized at 4.5 inches true, and the yellow scallop layer is sized at 4.8 inches true

Nearly Everything is inked with Tim Holtz Pumice Stone Distress ink
Ribbon is from American Crafts

Episode 65: Bee's Knees Birthday Card

Hey There friends

Before I get started with Today's video I apologize for the quality of my last video. I was struggling trying to find the batteries for my FLIP and just using my webcam in the meantime, and the lighting just came out horribe. I have my FLIP up and working again, and the quality of this video is great

Alright, so I've been working on a set of Birthday Cards for my Grandmother, She wants to send some handmade cards out to her friends for their birthday cards and asked me to make a few. Episode 40: "Up!" Card

Hey There Friends,

I made this card inspired by one of my favorite movies "Up!" I really love the message of the movie "it's never too late to follow your dreams" and through the trials of being an adult, a wife, and mother, I am constantly worrying about my husband's and daughter's goals and schedules and I forget about myself.

I hope You enjoy this easel card - but also take some time today to think about what you want out of life and let those dreams take flight.

You all are in my thoughts as I am on vacation and I hope to check back here with you soon. Please enjoy the video

Episode 22: Double Page Layout (DPL) Wild by Nature

I am burning the midnight oil tonight my fellow crafters. I didn't sleep to well last night ( had a bit of heat rash that was bothering me) and slept in for a good part of the afternoon now my sleep schedule is a bit off. The rest of the family is asleep that I thought that I would take the time to post up my project that I completed.

I really was tempted to fill my layout with little critters and animals but decided that might take away from the cutness of the photos themselves, so i decided to use some flowers from the "accent" feature of give a hoot cartridge. I figure I might go ahead and do a series a projects with this cartridge for a little while since I haven't used it to much.

Please take the chance if you haven't already to sign up for the giveaway, there are only a few days left and I will drawing the winner June 1st.

Episode 17: Nuttin' Better Card

Hey everyone,

Today just got away from me. I woke up quite early and made this card ( I swear a vision of it came to me in a dream) and I even made the video, but I left the house leaving my laptop to upload it to youtube, and the laptop died. GRR

Upsetting right?! Other than that I had a pretty productive day. I bought new organizers for my scrap area thanks to a birthday Target Gift card

Today I decided to use Give a Hoot Cricut Cartridge for this card being that I have only cut from it once, I am trying to make a valiant effort to use the cartridges I have before I go out and buy anymore.

Supplies Used
Pti Kraft Paper
DCWV The Guy Stack
PTI Year Round Puns Sentiments set ( another 5 dollar set )
Stickles- Gold
EK success Binder Punch
Tim Holtz Distress ink - Tea Dye
Sakura Gelly Roll Pens - Black & White
Adhesives, ATG, Scotch Quick Dry, and Pop Dots

Also want to thank everyone for the great comments on my youtube page :)
