Mojo 141

Happy Memorial Day.
Hope everyone takes the time to think about our fallen heros, whether they be armed forces or our police and fire fighters. They are heros as well. Remember those who put their lives at risk in the line of duty, to keep us all safe.

On that note. My Flip VIdeo Decided to Break this weekend and I lost all my episodes. I am going to be filming using my backup camcorder, while I have mine send back to the manufacter (defect so being replaced) But i to be honest won't be fiming as much because it's not as easy as my Flip. But at least i'm lucky it was under warrenty.

Before a cookout at my friend's house i was able to whip up a quick card for mojo monday ( I'm almost forgot since it's been a long weekend)

Mojo 140

I am proud that this mojo monday submission is on time.

I decided to use my 6x6 Kioshi paper pad that I purchased at CKC and from there I just played around. I was going to have my main image be a stamp that I was going to color and layer but after trying around I didn't have the right colors to match close enough. They were too bright and this is more of a subtle card. I then decided that I wanted to use something from "Just because cards" because I didn't make anything with it just yet. Found the little sheep, and when I put it on my A2 Card template on my gypsy I realized that I had to make it really big (5.75) in order for it to be an appriopiate sized image for the card.

May Day Mojo

I decided to make the my pink stamper challenge from national scrapbook day Challenge #10 "may day". Which was to create a project using flowers. I started with the Flower Pattern paper which I wanted to use from "My mind's eye" , then I hit a brick wall. Checked to see the mojo monday sketch of the week.
And combining the Mojo Sketch with the Challenge Concept I came up with this card. Which suprisingly I didn't use my Cricut for at all.

I created the flowers by hand, Using a flower stamp from the Sandylion baby girl stamp set, and used watercolor pencils and a waterbrush to color them. I stamped them orginally on white cardstock. After a quick zap with my heat tool, I cut them out with my exact knife.

The sentiment and Bee stamp is from Paper Trey ink flower garden sentiments stamp set (only 5 dollars)

Ink used for both the sentiment and flowers is Paper Trey Ink Basic Black

Selfstick gems are darico.. from michaels

Mojo Monday 135

Hello everyone. I know this is so so so very late. It's already wednesday and I'm just posting my Mojo Monday Contest Card. This weeks challenge was a horizontal card. And that was more difficult for me than I let on. I actually completed the Basic Construction of the card but had the hardest time settling on a shape and sentiment. I finally Settled on a scalloped circle from Gypsy Wanderings a Dove from Give a Hoot Cartridge, and Finally a Hero Arts Sentiment {there is no one like you} I'm overall happy with how it came out

Mojo Monday 133

Mojo Monday Contest based on the following sketch. I developed a nice card using paper from Prima "Nursery Tales" that I picked up at michaels just the other day

Please click for a better look at the card. I embossed the Chocolate cocoa paper with my D'vine swirl cuttlebug folder and it lays on a lavender a2 cardstock base. The bunny Image is Flocked, and is raised on dimensions for a little pop! Underneath there is a strip of pearlized lime cardstock and white ribbon for an accent. for the accents i used 2 medium large "got prima" vintage flowers, with gem brads in the center (Joann's Essentials )
