Gettin Scrappy

This was an easy one. And since I am totally doing all of the my pink stamper challenges out of order, you can tell that these are scraps :) The designer paper is Carolyn Gavin

For the tag, (Which i left blank because i am up-to-date on cards to give) I used Once Upon A princess. I absoluetly love all the tag shapes they have.

The punch is martha stewart Eyelet lace. My first time using it since i purchased it

Now all I have to think of is an occasion to give this.  I just sent out a whole batch of thinking of you cards, so maybe in a few days I can send another one out !! :)

May Day Mojo

I decided to make the my pink stamper challenge from national scrapbook day Challenge #10 "may day". Which was to create a project using flowers. I started with the Flower Pattern paper which I wanted to use from "My mind's eye" , then I hit a brick wall. Checked to see the mojo monday sketch of the week.
And combining the Mojo Sketch with the Challenge Concept I came up with this card. Which suprisingly I didn't use my Cricut for at all.

I created the flowers by hand, Using a flower stamp from the Sandylion baby girl stamp set, and used watercolor pencils and a waterbrush to color them. I stamped them orginally on white cardstock. After a quick zap with my heat tool, I cut them out with my exact knife.

The sentiment and Bee stamp is from Paper Trey ink flower garden sentiments stamp set (only 5 dollars)

Ink used for both the sentiment and flowers is Paper Trey Ink Basic Black

Episode 12: NSD Challenge " I like you the least"

Another video. The challenge for this was to use a cartridge that you "like the least, or one you dont use very often" I decided to use Nursery Rhymes, not because I like it the least, because since receiving it, I haven't used it at all. So While flipping through the manual. I saw on page 39 "give your dog a bone" and thought of my grandfather who has a birthday coming up soon, and he's a major dog lover. So this is a birthday card for him. I didn't stamp a sentiment on the outside because I plan on creating one with my cricut stamping set and stamping one on the inside. Something along the lines of dogs, dog years, or each an old dog new tricks.. something along those lines.

Also I'm currently went over the image with Liquid Embossing in Vintage Glass, and I'm waiting for it to dry. Will take an image afterwards to show you what it looks like.

Designer paper is Carolyn Gavin Greenhouse stack
Brown Cardstock base is stampin up chocolate chip
Green is Bazzil Hillary
Icon diecut is from Bazzil Pinecone
Ribbon is Offray (not sure of color)

NSD MPS Challenge 9: "Take Shape"

Though I would love to take complete credit for this cute little card. I did not make it. Ryan did *hearts* I was in the middle of finishing up my Previous card's video when he decided he might help celebrate national scrapbook day too. This is why I wasn't able to make a video for this. I wish i would've known ahead of time because What a cute idea for him to make a video.

He used the Robots Cartridge here, The card base was cut at 5 inches, the robot at 3, He used the Cuttlebug embossing folder spots and dots, and  ( I helped with this part) Made out own googley sort of eyes by cuting out 2 shapes for the eyes, and drawing them in with marker, then using liquid glass we added on top and let dry, and it gives the effect of a googley eye (that doesn't move) I just love how one is better than the other. I believe the pattern paper is sprockets and rockets by reflections ( he picked that out ages ago when we went to michaels together)

Episode 11: NSD MPS Challenge #7 "Hey Dad" card

I loved this challenge. I made a fathers day card for my dad. And I made it early :) I was finally able to use some of the carolyn gavin greenhouse designer paper, and the bazzil cardstock I purchased yesterday to match it. I loved the Image on a child's year and it reminded of me of doing things with my dad just the two of us. Even though of this was an accurate monogram i would be the taller of the two.  I felt so cleaver that I found 2 scraps just the right size to fit with my card, and in a color that matched pretty close I think. Spruced up my page with some american crafts elements Blue Skies Brads in the chocolate color. Bazzil Cardstock is Hillary & tropical breeze

MPS Color Challenge

For this challenge I had to make a project using the colors Black, Green and Pink. I made a 5x5 inch Square card and mounted it with White, then a piece of Green Embossed Cardstock using my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder. I Then made the Poodle Diecut from the "Once Upon a Princess" Cricut Cartridge and Embossed the Pink layer using my Houndstooth Cuttlebug Folder. I added 3 cream Prima Flowers, satin ribbon and Diamond Stickles on the Bow and Flower. The Pattern paper is Paper Pizzaz Hot Pink Swirls.
