Christmas Cards Galore

Since I have had more free time I decided that I would take the opportunity to start on some Christmas Cards. I know that may be a bit early but each year when Christmas comes I never have enough time to create cards that I'm really proud of. It's always a mad dash to get something out in the mail and I never have enough.

The best thing is that I didn't have to go out and buy anything to make these cards. They were all made with stamps that I already have in my massive collection. Some of the Stamp Companies have since gone out of business and the Stamps are no longer available (NLA) for purchase. RIP Peachy Keen Stamps and Scrappy Moms Stamps. I loved being back on your design teams back in the day.

Here are some cards I made in the last few weeks

I made 6 of these cards using my Cameo 4 Machine
The Images are from Papertrey Ink Merry & Bright, stamped with Stampin' Up Ink. The sentiment is stamped and Heat Embossed from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Christmas Cheer Stamp Set" (NLA)

I made 8 of these cards. In similar Variations.
Snow Man is from Peachy Keen Stamps  PK-149 Happy Snowman with Label (NLA). Stamped on Glossy Cardstock and colored with my Crayloa Super Tips Markers

The Two Background stamps are heat embossed with Hero Arts Clear Embossing Powder
On the Left, Peachy Keen Stamps, PK-119 Lattice Background (NLA)
On the Right, All Night Media Stamp Large Wood Grain Stamp 402K

For the Sentiment I used Peachy Keen Stamps PK -153 Lucy's ABC's Solids (NLA) heat embossed with White Hero Arts Embossing Powder

The Assorted pattern Paper is from Pebbles Welcome Christmas 12x12 Paperpack.
I finished the Card with Cherry Red Timeless Twine

I made a total of 3 of these Narrow Greeting Cards. The Door I designed in Silhouette Studio and Cut out with my Cameo 4 Machine. I had extra Banner Shapes cut out from my previous card. The Sentiment Comes from Peachy Keen Stamps PKSC-11 November 2012 (NLA)

I made a total of 5 of these cards.
These Card might look very familiar because it's the same layout of a card I made in 2013.
I cut tag shapes in various colors using my Cameo 4 machine.

The Background is clear heart embossed using All Night Media Stamp Large Wood Grain Stamp 402K

The Image Peachy Keen Stamps PK-153 Snow me a MAN (NLA)
I colored with my crayola Super Tips Markers and cut out using these Stitched Circle Dies

The sentiment is stamped and Heat Embossed from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Christmas Cheer Stamp Set" (NLA)

The Assorted pattern Paper is from Pebbles Welcome Christmas 12x12 Paperpack.
I finished the Card with Cherry Red Timeless Twine

22 cards down. Approx 28 left to go!

Terrific Tuesday Challenge with Scrappy Moms

Hello Friends, It's Cristina again.

Today I am sharing with you a sample project I have made for Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge

This challenge is usually Cricut Cartridge based, but today is a Christmas Theme free for all!!

Today I made a Christmas Card. I already have all of my Christmas card made and they are all the same but I wanted to make a special card for someone special....

DSCN0205

This is a 5x7 Card on a Brown Cardbase. The  Door svg, the Wreath and the Shape the Sentiment is stamped on are all my creation and will be made available for purchase in my store if not already.

The Door Pieces have been embossed with the Nestabilities Impressabilities Floral and Stone Embossing Folder. And also have been stencil inked with SU Crumb Cake ink before assembling.

I used Glossy Accents for the window glass and Stamped the sentiment from A Holiday to Remember Stamp set using SU Early Expresso (or Chocolate Chip, I don't remember)

Make sure you stop over to Scrappy Moms to join in the challenge and submit your Christmas Themed project and be entered to win a Scrappy Moms Stamp set of your Choice

we were each asked to create a project using our favorite scrappy moms stamps. I honestly couldn't pick just one of my favorite stamp sets so i opted to use a sentiment i have never used before. I used Special Delivery stamp set to create a simple card.
IMG_8054

The doll cut comes from Lettering Delights Let's Play SVG Set. I used the Peachy Keen stamps Princess Face assortment to stamp the adorable face.  The heart pattern Paper is from K& Company  Wild Raspberry.

My card was inspired by the current Peachy Keen stamps Challenge. I just decided to make a #10 size card that would fit in a regular letter envelope (i have a million of them)

Sneak Peak #2 A Pinch & A Dash

Hey There Friends,

I'm continuing to provide you all with some fun sneak peaks of the newest Scrappy Moms Stamp Set: A Pinch & A Dash.

The moment I saw this stamp set this was the first sentiment that I wanted to use. But I didn't know how feasible it was to create it. I had recieved a slider card from a friend, and I lovingly unassembled it (dont worry I put it back together ) to see how she made it. The trick is to use an exacto knife to make a small channel and then use a brad as a slider.

Toaster slider card

Toaster slider card

This card is 5x7 sized. I cut out the toaster from "From My Kitchen" at 6 inches, and I used my scissors to trim off the cord. I then used my Make the Cut Software to design a piece of toast using circles and a rounded circle (welded them together) in hindsight I could've used my gypsy, but it was charging.

The Pattern Paper is from my Stash. I used my fiskars uppercrest punch to make a fun side border, and tied a bow with some bright blue ribbon. 3 Buttons finish off this retro inspired card. I hope you enjoy it

A Pinch & A Dash

Hey Friends,

Today I will be giving you a sneak peak at the newest Scrappy Moms Stamp set: "A Pinch & A Dash"

This Stamp set has 25 Kitchen and Cuisine Sentiments that are great for any crafter. Though this stamp set can be used for a variety of images if you think outside the box :)

So here is my sneak peek

I cut out the salt and pepper shakers from From my kitchen and topped them off with hair from Paper Doll Dress ups Cricut cartridge. The heart is cut out from Create a Critter I added some Clear Glass Liquid Embossing to make it shinny, and used my Fiskars Threading water punch to make a layered scalloped border. Finished it off with the "You spice up my life" sentiment and a bow.

If you would like to see more projects using this brand new stamp set please feel to check out
