If you came here from MOMO, you are exactly in the right spot for the beginning of her blog hop!
I was thrilled when momo asked me to join her blog hop in celebration of her birthday, and we were asked to create a birthday themed project for the blog hop.
When you think birthdays, one traditionally thinks of cake, icecream, that whole scene. But for my project I tried to create a more subtle adult birthday card.
I have gotten a million and a half cartridges lately and to be honest, I haven't touched a few of them. So I decided to try to make a birthday project with the Asian-themed Pagoda!
I cut the twin dragon flies from the pagoda Cricut cartridge on page 43 at 3 inches. For some reason they reminded me of sisters, and I thought that this would be a great on a card for a sister's birthday.
The pattern paper is from K& Company Wild Raspberry 8.5x8.5 paper pad
The Blue is from DCWV Neutrals 8x8 Stack
Punch, EK Success Apron Lace
Tim Holtz Frayed Burlap Distress ink
Sentiment is PTI Year Round Puns Sentiment Set
** I could not for the life of me find my scrappy moms Everday Greetings Stamp Set, I just got a new table in my NEW CRAFT ROOM, and I cannot find anything anymore, and my things aren't 100% set up yet****
I really wish I had something super dooper awesome to give away, but I made for this blog hop at 5 pack of cute thank you notes and that will be my give away for today. All you have to do is leave a comment to enter :) I will choose the winner on Monday Via random.org
