PKS 3D Challenge: You've Been Framed

Happy Friday! TGIF

Today is my Groups Day to post challenge Inspiration over at Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog
The Challenge Project is to Create a 3d Project featuring a FRAME and your Peachy Keen Stamps

For my Project I decided to Alter a Frame that I had purchased at Michaels. These usually run about $1 and can be found with the wooden crafts section

Untitled

For my project I started with a piece of Kraft Cardstock which I modge Podged onto the Frame. I smoothed that out and let it dry. Then cut out the excess paper using my x-acto Knife.I die cut out some chevron shapes from DCWV All about Girls Stack and modge podged them onto the frame. Once again I let them dry then cut out the excess paper using my x-acto Knife. A Final Layer of Modge Podge over the frame seals the paper.

I used some Apple Barrel White Acylic Paint and painted some twirls and my Daughter's initals PSG onto the frame. I then waited for it to dry and covered with a light layer of Modge podge

Using Pearl Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist I sprayed some sheets from The DCWV All About Girls stack, and let them Dry. I then used my Cameo & Lettering Delights Quilled Flowers SVG Set, in order to create the 3d flowers. . The flowers were sized in my Make the Cut Software between 4-4.75 inches I hot glued the flowers onto the frame to make sure they were really glued.

**The flowers were so easy to assemble. Just roll and glue**

I tied a Bow with some fun Glittery Blue Ribbon and added a Button Threaded with some Pink Timeless Twine baker's twine.

I added my little dancer from PKSC-06 June 2012 which I colored with my Prismacolor Pencils and cut out.  I added some sparkle using Sticklers then added my little stamp on an Action Wobble which I also hot glued onto the frame for added stability

I hope you like this project and that it inspires you.

Make sure you visit the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog to link up your project and check out the other design team inspiration. Thank you.

I *heart* U Monster Valentine

As I had stated on my PKS Blog Post, I am showcasing two additional *Peachy projects*, that you can view here

Hiya Everyone

Thank you for stopping by and visiting if you are new and hopping over from the PKS Blog.

Today I am sharing with you a super cute valentine's day card that I have created using PK-693 Monster Mash Faces 1 1/8" and PK-296 XOXOXOXO A-2 Background Stamp. I wanted to showcase the versatility of these adorable Peachy Keen Stamps that Kathy has created.

Not only Does the "face" make the project, but using the xoxo background stamp adds alot of interest to the brown cardstock which would otherwise look plain.

Details:
**This project was 100% designed and cut using My Silhouette Cameo and Make the Cut software
**The card base  shape and Layers shapes are of my own creation.
**The card is roughly  5x7. i think slightly larger.. but that's okay I will just have to make my own envelope for this one.

The brown paper cardstock is Papertrey ink Dark Chocolate stamped with the XOXO Background stamp using Stampin Up Early Expresso Ink. All of the edges are Inked with Walnut Stain Tim Holtz Distress ink.

The Pattern Paper is from YT24023 Yours Truly 6x6 by Echo Park.

After I cut out my cute little monster with my Cameo I then proceed to ink various parts of the body with different ink colors. I inked the Blue Body with Stampin up Baja Breeze and TIm Holtz Walnut Stain Distress ink, and the horns and hair I inked with Stampin up Pretty in Pink and Tim Hotlz Distress ink.
I then assembled the monster and went doodle overboard like always :) with my
I stamped the adorable face, bringing my monster to life using PK-693 Monster Mash Faces 1 1/8" and Paper trey Ink True Black ink. I added the white of the eyes and doodling with my gelly roll pen.
The Rosy cheeks were created using a dry paint brush and Riding Hood Red Stampin Up ink.

I created the Mini Banner using a bunch of files from Lettering Delights

The Banner shape I created using the Basic Borders SVG Set. I used the singular Scallop and adjusted it to fit my needs.

The font is from Lettering Delights, LD Typeset font that I cut with make the cut software
I finished the project off with some red Swiss Dot grosgrain ribbon that I bought at michael's ages ago, and a black button. I tied some accent bows using Cherry red & Natural White baker's twine from Timeless Twine. My personal favorite.
I hope you enjoy this project, and that it inspires you to use your Peachy Keen Stamps in a Fun creative way.

As I had stated on my PKS Blog Post, I am showcasing two additional Peachy projects, that you can view here

Terrific Tuesday Challenge: Doodlecharms

Hey Friends

Today is another Terrific Tuesday Challenge with Scrappy Moms Stamps It has been a while since I participated in the Design Team Inspiration so I thought i would give it a shot. I looked up some of the images the cartridge has on here (I dont have the doodlecharms Cricut Cartridge)and i realized that this cartridge had basically images for every season.

Here is a card that I made using Lettering Delights Stuffing Stitchy SVG set.

All of the pattern papers is from an old Cloud 9 Designs holiday paper pack. It's so old that i actually lost the cover of the paper pack :-P. Most of the cardstocks is from American Crafts.

The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps a holiday to remember.

Make you sure you hop on over to Scrappy Moms Stamps to see all the other design team projects as well as join in the challenge. the winner will recieve the Scrappy Moms Stamps set of their choice.

BEWARE MONSTER POPS (w/ holder)

Hey,

Today I'm showing you this cute project i made over the weekend. I was inspired by (this post).

Tamara had made a really cute test tube holder, and has a free svg to make something similar. I of course had no plastic test tubes or halloween candy, nor did I want to make that investment then wait for shipping (yuck). So I decided to go with some cake pops. I altered the svg file to make 3- 1/4 inch holes intead of where the test tubes are..

This is what I came up with

I pretty much am in love with adorable project. I used the Lettering Delights Sew Spooky Stitchy Cut It Set To make this adorable project. I used my Peachy Keen Stamps Monster faces along with the Pumpkin Faces for them as well too. Pretty much all the paper is From Recollections

The stamp is from the Latest Scrappy Moms Stamps Set Bewitched it says "Friends like you are a real treat"

The Lettering Delights Sew Stitchy is pretty much my favorite SVG SET right now. And they have it for basically every season already too. Here a glance at the adorable Sew Spooky Stitchy Halloween set I used for my project
Or if you want  ALOT for not alot of money Check out this bundle.

At first I was unsure how this came out but now, I really like it. I used the PK-451 Wide Eyed Kids 1 1/8" and the Little Girl is from Lettering Delights Glam Girls Paper Dolls one of my favies because with all the different hair and clothing/shoes combinations you can make just the little girl you want) and  i just trimmed off the paper doll tabs with my scissors, easy peasy!

PKS Guest Designer Day 1: Easter Layout

HIYA!!!!!
                                             ***AND HAPPY LABOR DAY*****

if you are just arriving here from Peachy Keen Stamps, welcome, Please feel free to follow if you'd like or visit my youtube as well.  :)

In case you didn't know already.. Today is day 1 of my Peachy Keen Stamps Guest Designer week. I will be posting all week on the PKS Blog, as here as well. I have alot of great projects to share with you this week, so I hope you stay tuned.

For Today's project I created a layout, because I'm very very behind on my scrapbook pages (aren't we all??)

IMG_20110904_230209
The Whole Layout
I decided to create an Easter scrapbook page. Since I only have 1 picture of my daughter with the Easter bunny this year I opted to create a layout centered around the 5x7 print. I am a steadfast believer of making simple quick yet adorable layouts and this project came together in a total of 45 Mins. I don't have much time to craft, so I have to monopolize on what time I do have. :)

For this project I used the PK-44 Cute and Cuddly Faces 1 1/8” Stamp Set along with Lettering DelightsPeepSVG Set (for the adorable bunny and hop hop hop title) along with my Make the Cut Software

I didn't have any “seasonal” Paper so I used what I had on hand an older DCWV All about Girls pattern paper stack because of the fun assortment of colors.

All of the hearts were hand cut using the old fashioned fold-a-paper-in-half-and-cut-half a-heart technique using scissors, I used my Sakura white Gelly roll pen and some Glitter Glue to dress them up a bit

IMG_20110904_230228
Hand-cut Hearts
The Picture from the Mall orginally came with a horrible ugly border that I couldn't match to anything so the easiest thing for me to do, was just cut it off, and create my own photo mats, which the largest is 5x7 (kraft)

It's pretty simple to see what I did here. I made sure to add entirely too much doodling, I always get carried away once I start... :-P

Materials Used
  • (1) 12x12 Kraft Cardstock, Recollections
  • (1) 10x10 Pattern Cardstock, DCWV
  • (1) 4x12 Pattern Cardstock, DVWV
  • IMG_20110904_230237

we were each asked to create a project using our favorite scrappy moms stamps. I honestly couldn't pick just one of my favorite stamp sets so i opted to use a sentiment i have never used before. I used Special Delivery stamp set to create a simple card.
IMG_8054

The doll cut comes from Lettering Delights Let's Play SVG Set. I used the Peachy Keen stamps Princess Face assortment to stamp the adorable face.  The heart pattern Paper is from K& Company  Wild Raspberry.

My card was inspired by the current Peachy Keen stamps Challenge. I just decided to make a #10 size card that would fit in a regular letter envelope (i have a million of them)

The 1st Birthday Spectacular  blog hop grand prize of ALL 18 current Scrappy Moms Stamps sets will be drawn from this hop so be sure to leave a comment at all the stops along the way to get as many chances to win as possible! Scrappy Moms will draw a winner on monday.

Scrappy Moms Stamps 1 Year Celebration & Other SMS projects

WOOHOO,

Google finally got my blog issues resolved and I'm finally able to post on my blog. YAY! I'm sooo happy.

I want to share that one of my most favorite companies in the entire world (and design team ) is currently celebrating their 1 year anniversary of their stamp line. They have been having a giveaway everyday for the past week. I haven't been able to post about it until right now. They have also been doing spotlights on all the design team members. So make sure you head over to the scrappy moms stamps and see my little spot light. I shared a few fun facts about myself :)

We each were asked to create a project using our favorite scrappy moms stamp set. I opted to use Furry friends, only because i love love love all of the punny animal phrases.

here is my new project
IMG_8041

I created this 5.25x5.25 card using E.A.D Designs Stickerz and the stamp like i said was Furry Friends Stamp set from Scrappy Moms Stamps. I thought this would be a great congrats card. The pattern paper is from K& company Sweet Nectar. I love the bright summery colors. the Ribbon is from SU So saffron, and the twine is from Timeless twine

*******

Since I also didn't get a chance to post any projects on my blog for the last release of Scrappy Moms stamps(Sun Kissed)

I just wanted to post my pictures for you here in case you didn't head over to the scrappy Moms stamp during the sneak peek week.

IMG_7999
I love love love this sentiment, it makes the most perfect summer thank you card. I used my Lettering Delights Summer Treats SVG Set, to make this adorable card. the Shape I used my Make the Cut software and the Plaque shape and welded it together to make a shape card. Once again I used the K& Company Sweet Nectar Paper pack here. The ribbon is from American Crafts. The twine is from Timeless Twine.

\

I love love love sunkissed because it was so fun to use it to scrapbook the Vacation my family took to Puerto Rico last August. I used the "Splish- Splash" sentiment to create my own blue pattern paper. All the other Pattern Paper is from DCWV Mango twist. which is a great stack with lots of bright tropical colors. Most of the cuts are from Cricut Pack your bags Cartridge with the titles being cut from Life's a Beach Cartridge on the Cricut Machine.

I also used Peachy Keen Stamps Happy Lashes, and Princess Facse Assortment Stamp sets to stamp the cute adorable faces.
