Mi Amore Blog hop**giveaway closed***

Hey there Friends
~~~***Happy Valentine's Day!!!!***~~~
Welcome to the Mi Amor Blog Hop. If you have made it to me from Tanner then CONGRATS you have reached the end of the blog hop. If you are just getting started. Head over to Paula and start from the Beginning
For this blog hop we were asked to make a valentine's theme project. I of course decided to catch up on my scrapbooking. I went ahead and created a double page 8.5x11 scrapbook.
The paper piecings and cuts/ titles come from Treasure Box Designs love bug collection. I used my make-the-cut software to cut them out. Other than that the pattern papers came from my Imagine Better Together Cartridge The solid Cardstock is Stampin up Crushed Curry. I used my imagine default shapes to cut a marquee shape then cut it in half and used one part on each of the layouts. I used my EK success diamond scallop punch to create a border across the center of the page. The Journaling bits were made using my EZ journaling template by Hot of the Press
We were asked to share a picture of our valentine's and here they are. My favorite pictures of my loves<3
Love you honey!!!!
February Scrapbooking Ustream Class info and POLL
Hey there,
I am not sure if I already went ahead and mentioned my class on my blog. But I Figure I would mention it again just for those of you who may have recently stumbled upon my blog with all the hops I have been in lately.
Class Date:  Febuary 25, 2011 at 10pm EST
We Will be making a 12x12 double page scrapbook layout.
Please use the following Blog Poll to cast your vote for the cartridge you'd like me to work with. This list is comprised from emails and comments I have received with suggestions from YOU. I will pick a theme based on whatever cartridge is chosen. I will try to keep it neutral  as possible:)
If B is for Boy is chosen I will also use it in Conjuction with Sugar & Spice to keep it gender neutral as well as since it is a lite cartridge there is not alot of content to choose from.
** I wanted to also mention that I know alot of you have requested Create- a critter, but I decided not to enter that into the running for this class because I used it in a class not too long ago. To see that class and layout you can click here**
You can rsvp to my class on facebook for reminders and updates here.
I will leave this poll up for one week then I will announce the class cartridge and theme and get a supply list going :)
Can't wait for you all to come to my class.
Hugs
leave me a message if you have any questions or feel free to email me :)
Terrific Tuesday Challenges with Scrappy Moms
It's Tuesday again.
Which means its Challenge time over at Scrappy Moms Stamps Blog
IF you're new to this challenge, it is a cricut cartridge based challenge where we aim to use up our cricut stash. All you have to do is create a project with the challenge cartridge. Don't have the cartridge?? no problem just use a similar cut from somewhere else :)
this week's cartridge is SIMPLY CHARMED.
I decided to use the matroyska doll from Simply Charmed, this cut is also on Paisley cartridge, and even my favie lettering delights has a SVG set of them here to cut out with MTC or SCAL
I  used a family size cheezit box and took it apart, then covered the inside with paper then put it back together using score tape. After, I went and covered the outside with the light pink paper making sure to score the creases with my bone folder.  This is a fun and quick project to do and a great recycling project.
I plan to use this box to store the handmade cards I recieve in the mail from my awesome friends. I also made a few different versions to store my in-progress cards, then another for my "cards to mail"
The Matroyska Doll is cut at 3.5 inches from Simply Charmed, embossed with the victoria cuttlebug folder
The Scalloped Circle is cut at 4.25 inches from Sugar & Spice
I used my 1.5 inch punch and 2 inch scalloped Circle for the sentiment
The Sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Sweet Somethings.
I stamped the face using Peachy Keen Stamps Princess Face Assortment
I hope you enjoy my project
hugs!
**giveaway closed**Meighan & Nicole's Birthday Blog Hop
 LOOKING TO JOIN MY LATEST CHALLENGE ( VALENTINE'S DAY PROJECT NOT A CARD)?? PRIZE SPRING HOLIDAY CARDS CRICUT CARTRIDGE DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES  2-9-11 at Midnight PST.  CLICK HERE
 Hey friends.
I am currently STILL having major issues with youtube, so the video I recorded for this project will have to come later.
I am so happy to be apart of the Birthday Blog-aversery Blog Hop that Nicol And Meighan have put together.
The theme for this blog hop was Holiday Inspired Birthdays and immediately when I heard of this theme, i instantly thought of my little brother's birthday and Fourth of July. Even though his birthday is not until July, I quickly got started on an idea for his card. His Birthday falls 2 days after 4th of July and nearly always has a red white and blue theme since the those party supplies are always on a good sale in time for his party.
Here is my card I created.
I used B is for Boy to cut the robot at 2 inches, I used my gypsy to hide contour the face cuts.
I cut a range of stars from George & Basic Shapes from .5-1.5 inches in Red and Blue with the largest being white star
I cut the navy blue cardstock at 4x5 inches then attached 1 inch circles in the same navy blue cardstock onto it to make it appear to be embossed with large polka dots. I then sliced the bottom of the piece at an angle.
I then went ahead and layed my robot onto that cardstock piece and the parts that overhung the angled cut I trimmed off using my scissors.
I arranged the trim of stars across the diagonal angle I created alternating colors.
The number 6 is cut from Birthday Bash font at 1.25 inches
Using my Sakura Microperm pen I doodled a cute face onto the robot as well as a dial onto him, I colored his face and dial using a Copic Marker
The sentiment stamp comes from Scrappy Moms Stamps Happy Hauntings.
I hope you enjoyed my card.
For my Blog candy for this hop I am offering a 10 dollar gift certificate to PEACHY KEEN STAMPS.
