Episode 8: National Scrapbook Day Haul Video

Hey there,

With National Scrapbook day tomorrow, I took today to prepare. Recieved my Flip Hd camcorder today so I thought i would try it out by sharing what I picked up shopping today. My weekend is going to be jam packed with making videos tomorrow ( after i organize my hectic crafting area) as well as registration for TIM HOLTZ classes is bright and early sunday morning. So here is my video and I you enjoy it. I'll be putting these materials to work tomorrow.

Also wanted to mention that I purchased the Bazzil Cardstock in those specific colors to match my Carolyn Gavin Greenhouse Designer paper pack that has been sitting around for ages unused so hopefully i'll be able to crack into it a bit now that I have paper that matches exactly. (I used a copy of the stack in store to make sure the cardstock matches perfectly)

I am also expecting a package from Oh my Crafts that will have some cartridges and more supplies, hopefully it arrives tomorrow morning so i can put it to use as well.

Sleep tight and prepare for crafting tomorrow :)

Episode 7: Keeping Cricut Mats Sticky Tips

This was actually a request from my good friend Sydney. As a brand new owner of a cricut machine she wanted to know how to make her mat's sticky again. Just a quick video about that. Also I wanted to say how sorry i am to my viewers about not posting videos as frequently my cam died. SO I'm patiently waiting for my new Flip Mino HD Cam to come in the mail! Shipping is so slow. SO then you can see me in HD :) Also I will be doing some haul videos with that when it comes.

Episode 5: Homemade Thickers using Cricut & SCAL2

Hey Evreryone,
Sorry this video is a little bit late in the day. My little one wanted to be snuggled a little bit extra this morning, so I didn't have time to put it up. But finally here it is. This is a great activity to do if you are just short on cash and want to use up your stash. A great Rainy Day indoor activity to do, Please note that Do not use a font that you wouldn't feel comfortable handing or gluing on top of another the same size. The Bolder Fonts work best, IF you do make a cursive style thicker using my technique please by all means link it as a comment.  I hope to be posting another video tomorrow so keep your peepers peeled :)

Happy Sunday Everyone, Or monday, depending on where you are  :). Yesterday I went to Michaels and hit the motherload!! I thought I for once would make a first, "non-cricut" episode, for those of you out there who have yet to be bitten by the bug. This is just a series of episodes I will be doing everytime I work on my mini album. Hopefully you'll want to make a mini album with me

Mojo Monday 133

Mojo Monday Contest based on the following sketch. I developed a nice card using paper from Prima "Nursery Tales" that I picked up at michaels just the other day

Please click for a better look at the card. I embossed the Chocolate cocoa paper with my D'vine swirl cuttlebug folder and it lays on a lavender a2 cardstock base. The bunny Image is Flocked, and is raised on dimensions for a little pop! Underneath there is a strip of pearlized lime cardstock and white ribbon for an accent. for the accents i used 2 medium large "got prima" vintage flowers, with gem brads in the center (Joann's Essentials )

My Scrap Space

I thought it would never happen, But I finally have a scrap space. It's not a whole room, but it's perfect. It's in our bedroom. Used a card table and a hospital style bed table on top to make a shelf for my Big Bug and things that I easily reach. It's not all clean and organized yet, but it's getting there.

Also Put up a small board to show case my creations :)

I also have organizers thanks to a 50% off sale on scrapbooking storage at michaels. This is the cleanest it is ever...Scrapping is a messy gig, but someone's gotta do it. :)
