Pink Stamper Color Challenge

Hey there Again Friends,

I decided to do the My Pink Stamper Challenge. This time around it was to create a project using the colors, Green, Pink, Brown and Orange.

I had no idea what to do for this. So This is what I came up with. This type of cardstyle is a trifold pocket card

I was inspired by my paper this time. The brown pattern paper had a huge rose on it, and it was almost a shame to cut it up, so i decided to make some spiral paper rosses out of coordinating cardstock to match with it

For this challenge, I used Gypsy Wanderings for the Single Card shape, and I welded a circle from George to get the sircle at the top,  I also used gypsy wanderings to cut out the branches that I used for the roses as Leaves.

Episode 27: Triangle Trifold Invitation Card

Hey there again my friends,

I am proud to finally do a viewer request video. This request comes from a Stephanie D  "Well - I have 2 parties coming up and I really want to make my own announcement and invitations but just having a creative mental block for both. :-/ Any ideas?"

So I decided to make a simple invitation that could be customized for any given event. I made a 3 1/2 3 1/2 square card that is easy to mass produce yet is fun to make and fun to receive.
I added an hot embossed "Your'e invited" and the card is done.

The inside has just enough room to insert computer generation invitation information, or even to use an invitation stamp.

The card would be sent in a standard A2 size envelope

Supply Credits
Red Cardstock -Papertreyink Pure Poppy Cardstock
Blue Cardstock  (in final product)- We R Memory Keepers Teen Angst Stack (Scrap)
White Cardstock-  The Paper Studio
Pattern Paper- Papertrey ink Beautiful Blooms 6x6 stack
Embossing Pad- Craft Smart Michaels Brand ( Seriously smells delicious and works well)
Embossing Powder- Stampendeous, Black
Ribbon- Michaels Basic Black Satin Ribbon

I just wanted to add a tip here**** when using satin ribbon that has a tendency to fray, if you just take a bic lighter and light the edges just slightly, it will melt upon itself just a tad and no longer fray, this is true will will synthetic type ribbons, that fraying issues. I personally use a candle lighter, because I'm terrified of fire.

Episode 25: Recessed Window Card

Hey there my awesome crafty friends.

I've missed posting so much. The weather has been lovely here in western new york so I've been taking all the sunlight in as I can. Because summer is so short!

I am accomplishing two tasks in one shot here. I wanted to show you a new card type, as well as submit my challenge. So here it is

I created a 3d object in the form of a recessed window card. It's has a whole lot of depth!! I then used my paper doll dress up cricut cartridge to make the 3d castle here. With the help of my copic markers and popdots i was able to get a really dimensional project here. I bet you would not have guess that this castle was from paper doll dress ups!

When using the old cricut cartridges, as part of Emma's "Throw back Thursday challenge" I realized how spoiled I am from the layering functions with the cricut cartridges.

Episode 23: Waterfall Card

I was able to shoot a very low tech version of a video. Using my Prehistoric Cam. Sorry for the strange angle. I got a new desk in my scrap area and Not everything is organized the way it should be just yet. I am hoping to have everything and reorganized by the end of today.

Anyways. When I was at CKC I saw a card like this and I was finally able to get around to making one. This is the most simple way I could figure it out. This is a great way to use your scraps!!! I know maybe some of you out there save every little piece of paper, like me, and this is a way to use them

My Slide mounts, I am not sure if I mentioned this in my video, I did it all in one quick shot and May have left this out. They were made from 1 7/8in x 1 7/8 in stacked on top of 2x2 in squares.

Like I said in the video I used Gypsy Wanderings and Once upon a princess ( for the title)

Throwback Thursday 1: Animal theme (winner)

When I first found this challenge I was away from my crafting supplies for the weekend, so I wasn't able to complete it until JUST now!

I literally cranked this out before bed. Made a WONDERFUL TRI-SHUTTER card using Plantin Schoolbook on my gypsy then used sweethearts cartridge and the pear of birdies.

I made this card as a anniversery card for my parents

The Die Cut was cut out using my gypsy and the hide contour feature to seperate the "layers" feature. I Cut out the image at 3.5 inches

I made the trishutter image like i said using my Plantin Schoolbook cartridge in my gypsy. And I planed on having a tutorial how to make it, but I thought I just might as well share the gypsy cut files instead in the future. Keep a look out for that ! :)
