Gnomeo oh Gnomeo....

hey there,

My blog has been a little alienated lately. About 8 days left of prep until my show and I'm seriously hating crafting right now. I'm just so sick of making the same things over and over again. can you feel me.

I took a break to make a cute little card for the latest Peachy Keen Stamps Tuesday Challenge. It was a sketch challenge w/ a twist.. Use bling!
Here is my Card..

The Pattern Paper is from the Cricut Imagine Hopscotch Cartridge. The Sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps.

For my Card I used the Lettering Delights Good Luck Gnomies
I used my Make the Cut Software to Cut him out. Oh my goodness I was so happy they released this cute svg set, because I was seriously thinking about buying Freshly Picked Cricut Cartridge JUST for the Gnome Images. This is a wayy cheaper Option

ALSO LETTERING DELIGHTS IS HAVING A BOGO sale on SVGs will end tonight. Click here to shop before the coupon (SVGBOGO) expires at midnight tonight.

After my Show March 19th, I'll resume my normal videos and daily posting. I'm sooo sorry I have been MIA, but I swear i'm really working like a maniac to get everything ready for the 6 hour show.

Love ya'll so much <3

when you mess up digital stamps....

improvise and turn them into cards!!

Hey Friends,

I just wanted to share with you two cards that I made. Well i had colored these digital delights by Louby Loo digital stamps for a test project, but they didn't end up matching too well for what I was orginally going to use them for, so I had decided to just turn them into cards.

This first Digital stamp is called Rainy Day Dilly Duck
I kind of went crazy with the glitter glue but I like it. the Sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Simple Sentiments Stamp Set

Next this Digital Stamp is Called Elvin the Toad
The crappy lighting in my craft room doesn't do this card justice the greens in the ribbon (the ribbon is green not blue/teal) and the digital stamp are almost the exact same color. Also the pinks are the same color as well.
The sentiment comes from Scrappy Moms Stamps Furry Friends

I hope you enjoyed my cards. I think they turned out alright. I just couldn't bring myself to throw the stamps away after I spent forever coloring them in

I am getting a hand of coloring digital stamps now, it's so fun. I hope you enjoy my tutorial.

Sentiment stamp is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Spring Fling New Release, Available for purchase now

I didn't mention it in the video but the Scalloped Circle is cut using the SVG Cuts Nested Lacey Shapes SVG Set and my Make the Cut Software, I love it because it looks just like the scalloped nestabilites :)

I hope you are having a fantastic weekend :)

Sneak Peek Day #2

Hola!

Today I am sharing a few "simple" cards that I made for card sets using one of the newest Scrappy Moms Stamps new releases, Spring Fling. Now available for purchase.

I made 12 of each of these cards (for my craft show) and they are entirely made using the Cricut Imagine Nursery Tails cartridge. I love how they are instant scenes!!  I just added some Glitter Glue to each of the scenes for extra dimension.

This one isn't really a sneak peek The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Furry Friends Stamp set that was just released last month. I thought it went well with the image and card set.

I hope you enjoy my sneak Peek projects, Make sure you stop by and visit the rest of the design team  for more inspiration and head over to scrappy moms to purchase your stamp set.

Scrappy Moms Sneak Peek Week : Spring Fling & Kids Inc.

Hey there,

Today is a wonderful day because today is the start of a brand new Scrappy Moms Stamps Sneak Peek week. This week will be filled with wonderful inspiration from the Scrappy Moms designers to showcase their TWO newest Releases Spring Fling and Kids Incorporated. NOW FOR SALE!!!

I cannot say how much I love these two stamp sets. Kids Inc, is great for giving kids cards, using on Scrapbook pages and just everything for Children

Spring Fling has all the sentiments you need to get you from St. Pattys all the way to Cinco De mayo all in one fun stamp set

Today I have two cards for you, one showcasing each of the stamp sets.

This first card I created using A Child's Year, for the card base and shape, Give a hoot for the banner, then Simply Charmed for the Chick and Egg, I used my PKS 464 Everyday face parts to stamp an adorable face on the chickie. I used the sentiment from Spring Fling  " You crack me up"

For the Second Card I used Lettering Delights Doug's Outer Space SVG Set. this set is so cute and I thought it went just perfectly with some recollections paper I had in my stash. Super cute for only 5 dollars. I used my Make the Cut software to cut the images out, as well as make the octagon card base shape. I finished off the card with the Kids Inc Sentiment " I love you to the moon and back" and some glossy accents & Twine :)

make sure you check out the rest of the design team's projects as well as our Monthly Guest Designer and go over to Scrappy Moms and place your order (you know you want to ;-P )

Challenge #18: St. Pattys Theme Project

Hey There,

First of let me apologize that this post is sooo late in the day today. Seriously things have been chaotic this morning. (waking up realizing there is no  {good} food in the house among things)

This week's challenge is a pretty simple one : Create a St. Patty's Day theme Project, as well as the stipiluation that you MUST use the color green. You can't have a St. patricks Day themed project without using the color green so they go hand and hand.

The march prize is:

Mother's day Bouquet Cricut Cartridge

Also i wanted to note, that if you enter the challenge and you do not have a cricut machine, that's 100% ok. If you win I will make sure that I exchange it for a prize of equal value. You don't need a cricut machine to enter my challenges the only stipulations is that it's a new project that goes with the challenge. that's it.

Though St. Patricks Day isn't really a card giving/mailing holiday, it's always fun to see what people can come up with.

This week we are joined by Lauren from All Things Crafty.

And to her St. Pattrick's Day is special because that's the day she got engaged (awww!) so it always holds a special day in her heart. Here is the adorable frame she created!!
Make sure you pop on over to her blog to see more her her fun creations

Now for my talented trio!!!!

Amanda
Amanda created this super adorable Square card, and omg I love that pattern paper and the gold is so glittery. This card could also be used for any other special occasion other than st. pattys day.

Elsa
Elsa created this fun green on green card. I love the peachy keen stamp she used on the hat. it looks like he had a little bit too much green beer. It's also loaded up with some green stickles.

Ivette

Ivette made this Adorable card using A Child's Year cartridge, I just love the colors and the card shape (also from a child's year) is so unique. Love the cut out clovers in the inside. sooo sophisticated.

Make sure you go visit my Guest Designer and Design team ladies and let them know how much your appreciate their inspiration on this project!!

Now for my project.

I created this fun Shaped card using SVG CUTS Charm & Chance set (it was free gift w/purchase a few weeks ago) and I finally got around to using it.

The outside I left sentiment free, and stamped the inside with a Scrappy Moms Stamp set that I will be showcasing TOMORROW :)

This Card was actually a Doorhanger feature but it also comes with some "extra" features so you can not have the hold in the door hanger. I welded two of the hot air balloon bases together, then created a shadow blackout of that layer. From there i un-welded the hot air balloon bases, and only used one of the bases for my card. I probably should make a video of how I made this card, if I can only just find the time...
