**Giveaway closed**Christmas Cheer Blog Hop

Hey Friends,

it's another blog hop. YAY! If you are coming here from Amanda then you are in the right spot! If not, no worries just take a hop back to the start at Paula and I'll have a list at the bottom of this post in case you are lost!

For today's blog hop the theme was "anything goes christmas" So i decided to continue my work with my homemade gifts. The project that I will be doing today is showing you how to make a nice jar of cookie mix to give as a gift.

What you need to complete this project:

2 Clean Emptied Applesauce Glass Jars & Lids
1 pouch of Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix
1/4 Cup Flour
1 Box of Pistachio Instant Pudding Mix
1 Cup of Pistachios--unshelled. You can buy them ink bulk shelled and just unshell them yourself, its much cheaper that way.
1/2 Cup of dried cranberries (crasins)

Take half the amount of Ingredients and Add them in layers to inside the clean glass jars. I started with the cookie mix and flour and ended with the dried cranberries.

tag cut from winter frolic at 3 inches
*** my video for this project is currently loading and I will be back to put it here in a few :)****

As A thank you for coming by for a visit I would like to offer up a 15 Dollar gift certificate to Peachy Keen Stamps all you need to do is be a follower and leave me a comment letting me know what homemade Christmas projects you plan to make/have made this year

Christina,
Thanks for a great give away & sharing your project. Well...most our Christmas gifts this year were homemade. So all my time has been making projects and I haven't even had time to share them on my blog. I made glittered ornaments with their name & the year in vinyl on them. I made our picture Christmas cards. I made a date night package with giftcard holders. I made ornaments with our girls pictures in them & fluffy snow in them. I made homemade apple butter & several other projects but I will stop there.

Well my husband lost his job 18 months ago, so times are tough in our household. I made cookies for each sibling's family. We also lost our dad to Alzheimer's in September, so I went to Michael's and purchased a $3 ornament for each one. It has a cube inside to put four pictures. Each family has a cube with pictures of dad and their family over the years. It was a great gift!

Mix together and pour over the crackers. Mix every 5 minutes for a 1/2 hour. All done! Easy peasy but really yummy if you love Ranch dressing. :)

Love home made gifts, esp. ones that I can make cookies from. I made piggy-banks for nephews in family out of glass craft blocks. Thanks for a chance to win.

Great project. I made sugar scrub, fuzzy sock cupcakes, post it notes, and a stationery set with note cards, paper clip, and a holder for them.

These are a great idea and they look lovely with your handmade tags to compliment them. This year I decorated giant 5" baubles for my mother in law to give to her three great grandchildren and I also made her shadow boxes to hang on her tree with photo's of the great grandchildren in them.

Much easier cookie jar recipe than I have used. I made paper bag albums for all of my grandchildren this year. It was a lot of work and took me several months but they sure turned out cute. Can't wait for them to see them.

I made all of my own cards this year if that counts. And since a number of my gifts were gift cards I also made gift card holders for them. This is the first year in forever that I didn't bake enough goodies for an army haha, I just get to enjoy all of what everyone else has made!

Those that receive your cookie mix jars are going to be some kind of lucky. I was rather proud of the treat bag toppers I made for my grandson's 1St grade class party. I used Jolly Holidays (the raindeer) on top of a top note shape and stamped Merry Christmas to the opposite side. These were my first bag toppers and I will have to say I was rather proud of them. jls@eplus.net
