Local Scrapbook Store Challenge Sketch

Friends,
Hey everyone I thought that I would share with you this card that I made for my local scrapbook store's sketch challenge. Not many people particiapte in these challenges, so I thought that since the wonderful ladies at Buffalo Stamps & Stuff take the time to post these challenges that I would make something for it.

I used Lettering Delights Hello Cupcake Doodlebats (3 bucks) for the image, and I sized that at 4 inches in MTC. I added scrappy moms stamp sentiment, punched it out with my ek sucess tag punch. Added a scrap of the sanrio hello kitty dot paper, and a strip that I punched with my Fiskars Scallop Dot punch. Added 2 buttons and some quick doodles and I was done. Total time: 10 mins. ( I timed myself and it took me only 5 mins to make the image cuttable in make the cut. Might do a Make the Cut tutorial soon. Enjoy my friends

By the way: doesn't this look just like a Sweet treats cricut Cutout??  Let me know what you think?

OK, I just assumed it WAS from Sweet Treats. It is really cute! I also love how you punched both sides of the strip with the punch. How come I can never come up with simple cute idea like that? Thank goodness for scrap-lifting :)

thank you. I'm glad it looks like sweet treats, I wanted to have some cute cupcakes but not buy a new cartridge (i'm on a tight budget so close to my vacation). I've been trying to use what i've got alot more lately instead of buying something "new" sooooo tempting let me tell you. I'm glad you found my project inspiring :)

hugs

Did they have scor-buddy's. There were all out the other day! haha. BSS is literally a mile down the road, and I have to limit myself to only going once a month or I'd be BROKE
